The Electronic System for Travel Authorization, or ESTA, is a security measure that determines whether travelers can enter the United States for transit, tourism or business. This compulsory document allows you to board an airline or a shipping company.

RECIPIENTS OF THE ESTA FORM

The ESTA certificate allows certain foreign nationals to travel to the United States. Please note that this individual authorization applies to both adults and children. This request should be made approximately 72 hours in advance, to allow for any eventualities that may arise before departure, such as your request being put on hold. Please note that your stay must not exceed 90 days. Following this request, your authorization may be granted, denied or put on hold.

THE PRICE OF THE ESTA AUTHORIZATION

ESTA AUTHORIZATION APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

To enter the United States with ESTA authorization, four main conditions must be met.

1. First of all, you must be a resident of one of the countries benefiting from the Visa Waiver Program;
2. You must have a passport that meets the criteria required by the U.S. government. In other words, a biometric or electronic passport valid for more than 6 months;
3. After that, you need to apply for and receive your authorization;
4. Finally, you must provide APIS or Advanced Passenger Information System data. Once these conditions have been met, your ESTA authorization will be valid for two years, enabling you to make numerous return trips to the United States.
