DO I HAVE TO REAPPLY FOR A LOST ESTA?

The lost ESTA can therefore be easily found via the site with which you applied for ESTA. What’s more, since it’s an electronic system, customs officials can search for your lost ESTA directly from U.S. customs.

On the U.S. government website, click on the “Retrieve Application” button.

So you won’t need to reapply for ESTA and fill in the form, unless your document is no longer valid, because the expiry date has passed or because some of the data is no longer correct.

FINDING A LOST ESTA: THE PROCEDURE

To find a lost ESTA, as mentioned above, simply go to the website where you applied for your ESTA. The process is free, fast and simple. You’ll need to quote your passport number (biometric or electronic), date of birth and file number, as well as your first and last name.

To avoid any problems in the future, we recommend that you print your ESTA several times, and put the file on a USB stick for quick retrieval.
